The trees russle and sway as the river makes a way through a city filled with people on this cold winters day.
The world sheltered through curtainfall, the light etching patterns that softly fall, when the sun shines through the gray of dawn...yawning daydreams come to me.

Love the light creeping in on the curtain photos. Nice wood floors as well.

Do you know what kind of factory that is? Reminds me of the movie, The Final Cut.

The Power Station building was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott who also designed the Tate Power Station building, Waterloo Bridge , Liverpool Cathedral and red telephone box. It was built in two phases. Battersea A comprising one turbine hall and two chimneys was completed in 1933. The second turbine hall and two chimneys were added in 1953.

The Power Station ceased operations in 1982. In 1984 a competition was organised to determine the future use for the building and this was won by a consortium including Alton Towers Limited with proposals for an indoor theme park. Planning approval for this scheme was secured in 1986.

I give you the the Battersea towers!!! %) the reason for the bad wrap London gets for its air, but now it is closed....so I can breathe as I walk along the Thames river....on crisp winter days
